Quality & Sourcing
Checking the goods before they move
The cheapest problem to solve is the one caught before dispatch. Our process is built around that.
Quality inspection
Goods are inspected before dispatch, against the parameters agreed for that specific order.
Moisture is the deciding parameter
We buy on moisture. Moisture content is the parameter we check and agree with the buyer before dispatch, and it is what decides whether a lot is accepted.
Broken and off-grade material for ethanol plants
We also supply broken, damaged and off-grade grain for ethanol plants, where that material is a feedstock rather than a defect. Tell us the end use and the lot is matched to it.
Supplier verification
We deal with suppliers we have worked with and verified, reducing the risk of inconsistent material arriving from an unknown source.
Loading & logistics coordination
Loading and transport are coordinated from our side, so handling between source and buyer is controlled.
Our sequence
How quality is held
- 1
Agree the specification
Before sourcing, the grade and parameters are fixed with the buyer in writing.
- 2
Source from verified suppliers
Material is drawn from suppliers already known to us, not bought blind.
- 3
Inspect against the agreement
Goods are checked against the agreed parameters before dispatch.
- 4
Control loading and movement
Loading and transport are coordinated so the goods are not mishandled in transit.
Send your specification
Tell us the parameters you need and we will confirm what we can supply against them.
